UBC Mental Health Awareness Club

The UBC Mental Health Awareness Club is the hub of mental health promotion and stigma reduction at UBC. Students work together, along side staff and faculty, to learn about mental health together.

The Clubs main goals are to:

- Raising awareness;

- Eliminate Stigma;

- Connect students to resources;

- Encourage participation by all students and faculty; and

 - Offer professional and volunteer opportunities

They want to changes the culture of mental health on their campus to be healthier and supportive for all students. Some of the programming involves speaker series,
movie nights, potlucks, seminar events, and Lunch & Learn sessions
